Is there a reason that Action 305 has no price on the cover?

??????????? I always thought that Action Comics 305 was the one with the price missing from the cover. Apparently there was no price on the indicia either which seems odd to me. Of course, here in the UK T&P made sure there was an ink stamped price clearly displayed.

By "just" I guess you mean two years earlier. Back in December 1961 DC comics became 12 cents after 25 years of 10 cent prices (albeit with a reduced page count as time progressed). But at least they gave a full page explanation/apology. I was more traumatised when comics here increased in price from 10d to 1/- and I could no longer get 3 new comics with my Halfcrown (2/6d) pocket money.
