The Neon Wilderness  by Nelson Algren         Avon No. 222     1949     $45

Classic Raymond Johnson GGA cover later re-used by Avon/Realistic on the comic book Intimate Confessions #1. The color and image depth is more impressive on the paperback than on the comic book.

VG Plus - hard to grade this one -  looks VF minus, has a spine stain with some chipping and a light dust shadow on top of cover. Front and back are glossy and smooth.  The cover is glossy and is a nicely presenting copy of one of the iconic covers in the hobby.

VG Plus/Fine. Great colors and page quality, Spine is tight with slight slant. Colors are bold, cover has creases but they don't break color, light foxing.  Great copy for the money.

Rare Quarter Books digest. Just never see them for sale anymore.  One of my favorite Howell Dodd Bad Girls covers.  Iconic. Great font design as well.

Fine. Square and tight with mild creasing, edgewear and light rubbing. Staples are totally clean inside, which is rare for these digests.

Ok, not GGA but a killer copy of an early time travel novel and an American classic. Rarely see Pockets this nice from the late 40's so wanted to put this out there

An excellent copy of the scarce 1st paperback edition of the 1981 Nebula nominated novel.

Very Fine minus.  Square and super glossy. Appears very lightly read. Light edgewear.   I will include a remainder copy with the front cover off for a reader copy
