Movies have exploded this book in recent years. Many bad printing identifications out there. Only N-3 on the cover is a 1st print.

John Schoenherr cover art. Hugo and Nebula winner.

Soooo tough to find these in any kind of decent shape at 544 pages thick.

This one is tight and glossy without major creases, one small color chip to lower corner. Spine has slight curl. Pages lightly toned and super supple.

 

Very, very, very tough book in decent shape.  N-3 is the one to have, accept no substitutes.

"Flesh" should make a nice segue into some straight n sleazy GGA books tomorrow since it's a little of both Sci Fi and sleaze. I'll have tons more Science Fiction as well but think I'll be starting off with Girls tomorrow. Appreciate the takes and likes as always

Crazy world - we lost our internet literally minutes after I made my last post last evening.  Either I'm a Sci-Fi psychic or it was a very high probability event due to Helene hitting its highest impact in our area around that time. Bet on the latter scenario   We were fortunate to not have any bad damage. Our neighborhood is 5 miles in from the coast and at 30 foot elevation. The coastal fronting area due west of us had the highest storm surge in the 18 years we've been here, so a lot of loss over there. It looks like huge impacts up into the lower southern states as well. I hope all our brothers and sisters come through this unharmed

Some great noir & GGA in the mix. I just finished reading Jim Thompson's "Nothing More Than Murder", which really gets me in the mood!
