can anyone recommend a scanner?

I just bought a Canon LiDE 25 for about $40, and so far love it.

 

I need to add that I just tried to scan a coin and wasn't as happy. For comics and documents I'm still satisfied, but any coin folks reading this may want to spend a little more.

Thanks to everyone for the heads up on the HP 3970 - faster and better than the Canoscan LiDe 25 I bought last summer - which was fine for raw books, but can't scan slabs worth a damn. I just picked one up on ebay for $35 including shipping, and while I still figuring out the best rez to scan for loading up on photobucket ( which seems to shrink my jpegs, even when they're under 512 ), it scans slabs great.
