Many of my cgc books look like you can see through the cover after scanning them in but you have to remember that the scanner is beaming an extremely bright light through the book which will make it appear more translucent than it really is. If I held my books in front of me under normal lighting, you cannot see through the cover. The scanned image shows way more translucense than what is really there. Not to defend this book getting a 9.6 because the wrap does make it ugly, but scan's on ebay regarding color depth (which can be manipulated easily) and translucense aren't always what they seem.
