Can the TiVo record two shows on different channels occuring at the same time?

The tivo HD is telatively easily upgraded to whatever you want to put in it.

 

Mine currently is sitting at 160 gigs...Or around 130 hours of recording time

 

You can convert a "ripped" recording to a CPU playable format without problems, although encoding takes come cpu time.

 

Once you go tivo you never go back!

TiVo really is amazing - it puts you in charge of your TV viewing, not the people who decide when a program airs.
