8.5/9.0... would want a better look at the possible tear/ding Mar-vell mentions. Sharp book. Does the bottom right corner really jut out a bit like that, or is that some kind of distortion in the scan?

That's just a distortion in the scan...as for the bottom cover..there is no tear, but there is a ding
