If you ever seen some of those old DELL comics with the paintings of horses on them and wondered who did them. Will while searching the net I came across the web site above. Found out Sam Savitt did a lot of the covers of famous horses in comics. He did Lone Ranger's SILVER, Gene Autry's CHAMPION, Roy Rogers's TRIGGER, and even did a bunch others like Four Color # 1052 Ben Hur cover. Check the web site out. See if you recognize some of the covers. I think he did great art work on comic covers.
