And since I get asked all the time...

 

A random shot of a section of the wall books.

 

I would be stunned if there is anyone here who can correctly identify more than 42 of the 48 books shown here (including printing where visible).

 

And yes, this is plenty of detail to identify every one of them (if you know what to look for)...

1st row – Hulk 180, a preacher book? X-menn 266 1st gambit,

2nd row – ASM 121 (in VG- condition, obviously tongue.gif) , a superman 80 page giant? The wolvie limited series (once again in p i s s poor shape), wolverin 1 reg series, 2 x-men books, then cyblade shi – 1st app Witchblade

3rd row- DK returns 4, ASM 239, Secret wars 8, asm 252,killing joke, a batman book (they’re all crappy anyway), the cat # 1,black magic, hulk 340 (obviously a 5.5 at best), x-men 25

4th row – asm 289 – hobgobby revealed, akira, hulk, cap marvel, tomb of Dracula, hulk 200 (maybe a 30 center) ,astonishing tales 1? Web of spidey 1 and spawn 1 – the most valuable book on your wall?

Good call on League #1. I should have focused on the logo. I kept looking at the image and I was sure it was a full face/torso image of Poison Ivy. Wishful thinking I guess! smile.gif

 

Doesn't look like DC Super-Stars #1 in row 1,2 to me. Looks like a Marvel comic with 9 distinct images on it. Reminiscent of the old Fantasy Masterpieces covers...

 

The one you think is Young Justice #1 I just have nothing to go on for that one. confused.gif

Bottom Row 3rd from right

 

To clarify:

X-Men 25 is the regular version

Killing Joke IS the 1st print (which you can tell by the green letters)

JL3 is the Superman variant

Both Petes are 1st print (the covers of the second prints are slightly different but I doubt anyone could tell)

Akira is 1st print

 

Once you guys can identify the last three I will post another section of wall. Or maybe the same section taken at a different time.

 

The only hint I will give is that NONE of the remaining three books are from Marvel...

What can I say, you hit my niche!

 

I'm pleased to say that I could tell at a glance that the first row contained an issue of Primus. The logo is quite distinctive I think. The only thing that slowed me down was that I don't have that issue and so needed to check to see what number it was.

 

I'm also pleased to say that the issues hardest for me to identify were the X-Men issues. (other than #266 which I got at a glance) tongue.gif

 

None of the rest are Marvel? Hmmm, there goes my theory on 1-2! 1-8 I was thinking was maybe an issue of Adventures of Superman - the logo looks like it contains "Superman". But the shape doesn't look right - most of AoS logos had "Superman" in an arch until a couple years ago. And the 3-10 logo makes me think Supreme. I was pondering it was maybe one of the Alan Moore issues... but none seem quite right.
