Not too much war in today's big haul, but I like this Combat Casey 25, 1955. Maneely cover is enough to sell the book, but I was especially curious how Atlas could tone down R Q Sales' often ultra-violent style for a post-code book. They managed.

Can you guys help me out?

I am looking for any comics with Flame Throwers on the covers.

I already have a couple. I need your help.

Thanks,

CAP Freak.

Here's one for ya. Not noted in OS as a flamethrower cover.

No parachutes on those covers. :baiting:

Sweet looking books, but horrific PQ. Where did Harvey store those copies? In their attic? :tonofbricks:

Since we're on the topic of Heath, here's a true "tour-de-force" IMHO. The detail on this one is phenomenal and I was giddy to get a decent copy. Too bad the interiors on these Navy books generally stink.

I'm no Sad Sack fan, but that's a freakin' brutal cover!

I actually checked Overstreet for the "eye injury" notation -- not there.

Don't get me wrong. I just picked this up and I am VERY happy with it. It just looks a little better in the scan than it really is. Sweet book though. I have looked for (any) copy of it for a long time. Twice I found copies which I promptly purchased (online) only to be told it they didn't have the book. Very pleased with this copy.
