"NEW" Superman SPECIAL on A&E

6 posts in this topic

There will be a new SUPERMAN special on A&E tomorrow, Monday June 12. Its title is "LOOK UP IN THE SKY! THE AMAZING STORY OF SUPERMAN". This is a two hour special that covers the Man Of Steel from his beginning before comics up to the present including the new SUPERMAN RETURNS movie coming out. Some of the things that will be covered in this special will be unaired spin-off pilot shows, cartoons, people involved in all the movies and comics. And a bunch more. Even at 2 hours long it probably won't go into great detail on a lot of subjects. There's way too much Superman stuff to be decussed in just two hours. But it should be an interesting show. Catch it if you can. Its the best thing of television tomorrow. Beats reruns. wink.gif

So who all saw it?

Was a pretty good show. Lots of stuff I didn't know about Superman. Never knew Super-Man was originally a bald bad guy in a Sci-Fi mag before he was in comics. Noel Neill was actually the 1st Lois Lane. She appeared in Superman movies before the TV series. And those early Superman movies used cartoon effects during the flying scenes. Didn't know they were going to do spin-off shows from the ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN tv show. They were considering a Jimmy Olsen show.

It was nice to see that Jack Larson will play a role in the new Superman Returns. The special had a lot. Hope ya didn't miss it.
