Nerf, there are lots of characters that didn't make the cut simply because they were not around or not popular enough at the time (1974-1975.) Wolverine, Punisher, Moon Knight, etc.

 

Not to mention that Marvel used the MVS promotion to pimp their newer mags, headlining icons such as Lilith, It, The Living Mummy, Brother Voodoo, Shanna, Golem, etc.

 

The big mystery is why bozos like Byrrah and Plunderer were included, rather than say.. Magneto, who was heavily featured at the time in Avengers and Defenders, etc. . screwy.gif
