Without seeing it in person, I wouldn't assume you can see through the cover. Scanning the book usually causes this kind of translucency as the light travels through the cover and bounces back off the white pages behind.

The real question here is what grade would the Snickers bar get if you slabbed it?

That is hard to say because CGC may stiff you on the grade. And with turnaround times so long, they will leave you hanging for awhile. But the good thing is the slab is rock hard & tough to penetrate.
