Bully beef.

Anyone have a Naval family,chipped beef on toast?

 

When my dad was in the army (WW2) basic rations were usually bully beef (corned beef) which I suspect is much the same thing.

Corned beef here is very much like pastrami.

The chipped Naval beef I am reffering to comes frozen in a white plasticpail and is an unseasoned mix of mystery cow chunks sinew galore .Simmered slowly with cream and served on toast. :sick::sick:
