How would you handle this Ebay situation?

I just decide what my maximum bid will be and enter it. Then either I'm outbid or I win. I don't understand how the snipe software or last minute bidding helps. Does it just keep the price down until the end so other bidders don't notice the auction?

It keeps the price down, but not so much because other bidders don't notice the auction, but because it keeps the prices deflated until the very end.

 

I have never won an auction at a 'bargain' price when I've bid early.

 

But I have when sniping. thumbsup2.gif
