Punyhuman,

You're making me want to collect old Fox books. Seriously, they seem pretty reasonable in the guide - what percentage of giude do they usually sell for in say 4.0?

I usually post my contributions in the main Have a Cigar thread, but no way anybody outside the GA fraternity will understand this one-- the Flash Comics Wheaties giveaway, with chunks missing where the tape was removed.

Won off eBay for a third of OPG "Good!"

A few more examples from the set of MM Mag file copies I've been buying

recently (the highest grade 1930s Disneys I have ever seen) - the V3#7

arrived just a few weeks ago. Holding two virtually flawless books (these

really seem like they came off the shelf yesterday) that came out at the

same time as the movie (premiere in February 1938) condenses the entire

history of animation into what seems like just a day or two. To me, this

is what collecting high grade Golden Age is all about.

That Valentines cover is just awesome, and the condition....

Let's just say I'm ashamed blush.gif at the ratty copy I posted on Valentines day.

Great books cloud9.gif

BTW does anyone else have the rubber dwarves that came out with the movie in 1938. They're really cool little things.

beautiful, just beautiful! i love the dwarfs covers, and those are stunning looking copies! The easter one, just keeps knocking me out, it is such a FUN cover!

as for the WDC&S i too love that cover. I often take a lot of heat for this, but i prefer Kelly covers to barks any day!

Enough happy dwarves, unless they're about to jab a bound maiden with a red-hot poker of course.

Here's a recent aquisition (arrived today!) that has been on my list for long time. I was determined not to be outbid this time, and ended up getting it for a reasonable price.
