I remember buying these books off the stands! I loved the romita jr art until about issue 189 when he changed his style to a quirky new style that mimicked the style of the new mutants! I hated the new art so much i stopped reading x-men within a year. This happened at the same time spidey went to a black costume which i also hated! That was a real shame because spidey 238-250 was a great run!
