Matt has taken off for California to through his hat in the ring and run for Vice-Governor on his old pal and ex-training partner's ticket, Arnold.

 

I guess he figured, "Hey..actors, pornographers, bimbos, why not a High Grade Silver age guy?".

 

I wager that he'll be back soon enough to answer all false charges levied against him.

 

How are these false charges? He agreed to do something, and didn't. Plain and simple. He has screwed over plenty of board members, plain and simple. These aren't "false" charges either.

I too would like to hear Matt's version of these events, but I find it odd that you call these experiences "false charges". You seem to be an intelligent, logical guy

I've defended Matt in the past, but facts are facts. Since you seem to pride yourself on intelligence, what's your vested interest in being so quick to dismiss the facts and speak on Matt's behalf? Because you've had succesful dealings with him? I did too, and just 2 weeks ago, but that dosen't change these other claims.

I dismissed nothing. I just made a humorous yet highly improbable rendition. How seriously did you take the part of my post where I said that Matt was running on Arnold's ticket? Why take that part as seriously where I said, "False Charges".

I don't know who you are, nor do I care if you wish to be anonymous, but I'd like to address a few things. You indicate that you had an underlying plan to draw out a reaction to prove a point I really don't understand why you felt compelled to explore here? For a member only 140 posts old, I'm puzzled why you'd feel anyone would call you a criminal, why you need a plan to draw out hidden enemies, and why you felt it necessary to get involved in the first place. Since you are not sharing a positive or negative experience, not offering a possible explanation, nor any relevant information to the discussion that may help anyone... it seems to me that you could have found a different/better post to be a paranoid comedian in. If you are a friend of Matt's and have any information that may shed some light on any of this, I'm happy to listen.

My intentions participating in this thread (I did not start)... are to offer the information I feel is relevant to the original post Kevin made, as well as detail my current experience. I hoped to determine if others are sharing similar difficulties or had information that may help me locate Matt and/or obtain possible enlightenment as to why he has not returned my contact attempts nor concluded our deal.

 

My comments have been 100% factual and I can prove it if and when I chose to.

 

I have not heard anything that sounded like "charges" levied, just experiences, opinions and advice thus far.

 

I don't believe anyone has made a criminal accusation concerning Matt's absence. There have been accusations in the past in that regard, but no one has brought that up in detail or pointed to the posts directly.

 

I considered my involvement in this thread carefully and only decided to participate because I feel I've been extremely patient, accommodating and understanding. I now feel I'm being treated unfairly, with no regard or sensitivity... and even possibly taken for an insufficiently_thoughtful_person. It seems others may be having similar experiences as well.

 

I don't care for, nor take pleasure in confrontations that may make others look bad, even if they deserve to be called on the carpet.

 

I would like nothing better than to hear from Matt with some convincing explanation and a willingness to immediately conclude our deal that has been in limbo nearly 2 months. However, even if this happens, I don't feel my posts were unwarranted in the least because regardless if he was abducted and prodded by aliens recently, the events that occurred prior to the latest "Communication Blackout" warranted my response. The fact that he has been in contact with some of his auction winners proves he's been on his computer and capable of responding.

I have no knowledge, recall, nor heard of this possible connection until last night. Frankly, I'm not interested in exploring it either. One specific drama per post is a good rule of thumb. I will say that a couple of your statements, particularly the one below did seem reminiscent of the poster you refer to...

Anyway, I assure you that I don't make statements of the nature I posted on this thread lightly or without the ability to back them up. I have never called anyone out when I've had cause to in the past and I honestly detest having to. I also did not call Matt out nor email all my friends/associates the first time he abandoned a deal on me for which he (prior to this new deal) apologized/expressed regret for and acknowledged he acted hastily.

 

If you were privy to the history and surrounding details of this latest deal from start to current, I'm very confident you would be overwhelmingly convinced that I've been extremely patient and understanding. Conversely, if you reviewed Matt's given commitments, promises of payment, offers/solutions probably made insincerely because they were not answered, various extended "communication blackouts", lack of follow up to sporadic one-time communication, and the PM's I've received detailing similar experiences others have encountered... I feel you'd have a VERY difficult time siding against me.

 

Regardless of the nature of his latest extended absence (and we know he's been in contact recently with auction winners), I feel more than justified in my actions based solely what happened prior to it... so the possible forthcoming explanation (however convincing, dramatic and/or heart-wrenching it could be) would not render my actions inappropriate or premature in my opinion.

 

I still hold out hope and will welcome a peaceful resolution to our deal, but this time I intend to hold him to his word(s) and determine if he's a man of them, or a serial deal-breaker who does not honor his private agreements.
