You know, I wonder what will happen when more 9.8 hulk 181's are listed on the census,will the 20K price be the same? will it go down? then again,just because there are 10 9.8's of hulk 181,doesn't mean the price drops or that it's common in 9.8...(i was just using 10 9.8's of 181 as example..i know how many there actually are)

Hey VM, here's a request for you that I don't believe has come up yet -- how about a query that shows what modern age (1974+) issues are tough to get in HG? Where many copies have been submitted, but largely fail to make high grade? This would exclude issues where there are few or no HG issues owing perhaps to the fact that few copies have been graded at all.

 

This would require filtering on modern age, a certain number of issues graded as a minimum (maybe 50?), and then the 9.0+ (or whatever) is a tiny percent of the overall graded copies. What do you think? Could you give that a shot if you've not already done it?

That CGC Analysis page is excellent...I gave you 5 stars and bookmarked the site. I spent hours doing something like that in Excel for Harvey comics and it's great to have it on your site all updated and clear when I want to look at it.

That CGC Analysis page is excellent...I gave you 5 stars and bookmarked the site. I spent hours doing something like that in Excel for Harvey comics and it's great to have it on your site all updated and clear when I want to look at it.

Thanks! I've spent many hours too on the CGC census (especially compiling the database)

but I'm glad I can share it with so many. grin.gif

I normally do this kind of stuff and I'm the only one who sees it.
