Snipers...

I snipe as a rule now if it's something I really want.

 

But as mentioned, fire and forget. I set me snipe and then check back when the auction is over. I generally keep anything I'm sniping on my watch list. If I see it go over my max bid, oh well, but I wait it out. I've had max bids drop when sellers have kicked bidders and the price has come down.

 

On the whole, sniping has saved me a bucket of money.
