  1. Unfortunately High Value doesn't allow prescreen either ....
  2. I'd be over the moon with a 1.5... I think a 1.0 is reasonable as well
  3. Welllll all was fine and dandy until I went to look at prescreening it.. Did they remove prescreen for High and Unlimited Value recently?
  4. Thanks, would love to get more opinions
  5. Thinking the same - what specifically differentiates between a .5 and a 1.0 in this case? Is it mainly the size of the missing pieces?
  6. I recently picked up this X-Men 1 and debating submitting for grading. The covers are detached but presents fairly well with none of the most important cover elements missing on the front. The rest of the book is complete with no cut outs. I have thoughts on what it would grade but would like to hear all opinions. TIA !
  7. Upon more research, appears it could be legit - he had LOTS of variations around this time it seems. Any other examples are appreciated
  8. Flipping through an X-Men 114 I picked up... do you think this a legit old Claremont sig? I know creators adapt and evolve their signatures over the years. All thoughts are appreciated
  9. I'm also curious about this one - I'll try to follow along here or please let me know as well! I think the book may be thin enough that a thicker holder would safely hold it, depending on the other requirements at play for the process to work without issue.
  10. That's great! I wonder if they just updated his hair from '93 to '94 on any other items
  11. I found this folded up in a collection some time ago and haven't figured out what the graphic came off of. One of those "maybe someday I'll figure it out"s. The material is like a cotton T-shirt and extremely thin, but the graphic itself doesn't have much wear at all. Seems to be cut out of something though. Image search hasn't been much help. Anyone have/had this shirt or whatever it was back in the day?
  12. I'm with you. Does CGC automatically call this resto ? Any thoughts are appreciated
  13. I picked up this book the other day and am unsure what to call it grade-wise. I knew about this issue in advance and I got it for a pretty good deal. It almost looks like it was in a stack of books at one time where the spine stuck out just enough to get either a dark "dust shadow" or a spray paint of some type. I'd be curious what the top book looked like or others in the stack. My main concern is that it might be labeled as restoration by CGC... Does anyone have experience with submitting books like this? Insight is much appreciated. Scans are below:
  14. Kind of wish I would have kept this one! Oh 7 years ago
