The ball is at the 30, the kick is made and the attempt is......

I can?t say that I have done it yet but I can say that I am doing it. I have a few encapsulated books and a few raw copies up for sale on E-bay. One of those books I have up for bid is Incredible Hulk #181 in a 3.5 condition. This has been in my collection for who knows how long. I got it graded knowing it would receive a low grade but did so anyway because it was the 1st full appearance of Wolverine.

Arguably I didn?t purchase this book to sell since as I mentioned I have had it for an unspecified amount of time. The Daredevil #1 (Vol. 1, 1964) though that I purchased only about a month ago I also placed on E-bay. Sure I could be asked why am I selling a book that I waited about twenty years to purchase, a book that is 46 years old?..and well considerably older than I. Well, I am probably doing it to see if I can.

I do want this book (Daredevil #1, the first appearance of Wolverine?not so much) in a much better condition, at least a 9.0 is my greatest hope. I bought this from an auction thinking there was no way I could win. Since this book has no sentimental value to me I believe this makes it easier with the eventual departure (I hope.) Of course selling it is only a portion of the equation, someone?s got to buy it.
