Getting out of the hobby
Selling it all?
Well, I have reached a point in my col, lecting where I can no longer afford to grade nor continue buying issues (new or back issues). I feel that if I cannot keep buying issues then I am no longer collecting and I am just storing or hoarding whichever is the prefered term. Plus, with another child on the way and us needing to find and move into a bigger home it seems one of my only choices is to liquidate my collection, this will also alleviate the need for extra storage space and moving hassles. The real question is do I break up everything and get rid of it all or do I try and keep certain prizes? I am leanign towards getting rid of it all. With that decided what is the best way sell in lump collection, pieces of collection or singles? Oh well, guess I will figure it out along the way.
On a side note if anyone sees anything they would like of the stuff I have listed on the CGC site make an offer and I will consider it. I will be putting stuff up on ebay as fast as time permits but first I must go through the whole collection (which includes alot of ungraded comics) and figure out decent auction prices and such.
Thanks to all for providing a great community to be a part of and also the competitive parts of collecting on this site as well.
