Sometimes I can.... sometimes I can't....

As much as I don?t get CGC?s complete grading policies I also do not get how to add my journals to Discuss on the Chat Boards. In part one I mentioned about not being able to, by part two CGC made it so I was able too. My problem was even though I checked off all the appropriate boxes I could not get my journals to be applied to the chat boards. I communicated with CGC and they tried to figure out the problem. It was never fully resolved, but they did try. As soon as I gave up and stopped a journal of mine was linked. I have had a few appear on the chat boards but have yet to try again. Some were added, some were not.

I have not fully explored the chat boards. Part of it is lack of time, the other part is ignorance. I also feel like my voice is a whisper. I can write in the journals what I wish and am read by those that might have a small amount of time to read one person?s thoughts rather quickly opposed to the time one needs to follow a post. I found some of them to be lengthy. Some informative, some full of petty bickering, and some with knowledge. I felt that I was not able to dedicate properly my time to the boards to be an asset to the posts, which is one of the reasons I have decided to take upon my own personal challenge of 30 journals in 30 days.

I do want to get caught up in the chat boards as much as I get caught up in the journals I just don?t want to go in doing it half-. Does anyone else have these problems with linking their journals to the chat boards or is it just me? Maybe when I am done my 30 in 30 I will take the time to immerse myself into the chat boards and join the registry even deeper, then my journey to the dark side will be complete.
