When we started in 2008, we were just going to collect for 10 years.

But we have gotten so involved with comics I doubt we will ever quit. The boys said that will keep collecting long after we are gone. At first it was more for an investment,but now...they have grown on us and the comics have become part of the family. Though they take up space...they don't eat or use up utilities...but they are a part of each one of us. We all have our favorites but each of us gets a thrill when one of us gets a new comic for our own individual sets and tastes. And just like human beings the comics have their own personalities which seem to reflect on each of us.

The Col. favors XMen and old Westerns. He always has been a cowboy at heart and the old westerns bring out that aspect of him. The XMen attributes to his mysterious and adventurous side. Robert favors Batman with his quirky fantasies and slight nutty dark side always trying to help others. Jeremy favors Spiderman with his quiet, laid back attitude always concerned with taking care of family. And as for me,I favor the humor comics. I have always pulled pranks, making jokes, and making everyone laugh.

So what had started as an investment has now become a way of life for us. How about you?
