Yes I know January is almost over

I was just looking through some of my previous journals and ran across one called Year in Review or No Comics in 2011. My goal was to give my wallet a rest and not spend any money on CGC books in 2011. Lets see how that worked out for me. The comics I added to my collection this year include

Looks like I went a little crazy in October. OK in my defense though I got a fantastic deal on all of these books and I did sell several books in my collection to help offset some of the cost. Id like to say I wont buy any CGC books this year but its a little late for that and Im really hoping to make it to the SDCC again. What I can say is that I will buy smart this year and make every purchase a worthwhile one.

On a completely unrelated topic there were layoffs announced today in the company where Ive worked for over 15 years and my organization was directly impacted. Ive had a lot of folks praying for me and honestly Ive been ready for whatever God has planned for my life however scary that may be. As it turns out though God still wants me here for now and Im thankful for that even I say goodbye to some great coworkers who were not as fortunate. Regardless of what would have happened though God is still good and I know he cares about me. I say this to let everyone know that no matter what you may be going through in life you don't have to go through it alone.
