What a month

This past Mothers Day Weekend I worked. I have worked Mothers Day weekend before but never like this. The 72 hours that were available to work had me for 48 of those hours. I made some extra money for the upcoming convention but I sacrificed a lot. One of the biggest things was being able to write.

The past month I stepped in for another manager who had a family emergency back home. And home for him is rather far away. I stepped into that degrade position. As a waiter I can write and edit in my down time. As a manager I can do neither. I heard the manager will be back on the 15th so I guess after jet lag and all that my last day managing will be this Wednesday.

The other problem I here is that thee others are going on vacation and I am hoping this will not become full time, unless they cut me down to five days. Of course I wouldn't mind working 48 hours in 72 again of I could get the other four days off.

I will submerge myself into the comic field once again with the upcoming Wizard World. I still need to bring ten books to get graded and decide if I should buy the VIP Stan Lee Pass. It's only money, then what do I have him sign??
