Or Weeding Out the Old...

I'll write more about the book I received in a trade as soon as I get it. This is more about the books about to go. My raw Daredevil eight is gone. I always considered it to be mid-grade. By CGC's standards I would give it a 5.5 or a 6.0 and after purchasing a 9.2 SS copy I traded it away. The question is should I do this with my other books?

I have a 9.6 copy of Amazing Spider-Man #300. Do I dare get rid of my raw copy. Do I try to sell it in the hopes to make a few bucks? And then take those funds and buy something else? I purchased a large collection and have been lazy about placing them on eBay. I sold less than twenty books and brought in a net amount right over two hundred dollars. If I start selling off my stuff I better pay attention to what goes where. In other words does the money go back to pay back my savings for the gamble or do I get to use the money to buy more stuff.

I just sold my New52 Batman and Robin issues I have. I took a loss but I'm looking at I have space for nine more comic books. Have I mentioned the Xbox games I'd like to sell, the Star Wars chess set, or even the assortment of Hero Clix I'd like to sell. At the end of the day I have to stop being lazy about it. Then if course I decided to get rid of all the CGC books I no longer want. I like keeping my sets all on one page. I don't like having so many sets with a book here or there. Eventually I will delete those sets. I might need to sell these books, I just want to.

Have you had to sell your collection? And have you regretted doing so?

Thanks for Reading
