Looking good...

As I shared in a previous journal, I had a couple of raw Bronze Age books pressed and graded at the Amazing AZ Con at the end of March. The books showed up on the registry as Shipped/Safe last week, but not one to spoil surprises, I refrained from peeking. Well, the books arrived and Im VERY happy with the results.

Ok sure, the MTU 38 could have been better, but Ive been looking for that issue in 9.6 for years and havent had any luck, and I dont want to pay 200 bucks for a 9.8 copy. That being said, Im happy with the 9.4 grade. Cool Bronze Age Beast appearance...nice.

The Shanna issue I thought was not in as good a shape as the MTU, so I was happily surprised to see it grade at 9.6. Once I found out this issue featured an early appearance of Professor X I went on the hunt for it. The only copy Id been able to find was on wwcomics.com and it had been sold already. Could it be...yes, xfiles had purchased this copy for his collection. Ugh. So, I found the best copy I could on eBay and the rest is history. I am adding this one to my Xmen the Missing Years set right now to further establish my dominance of this set, mmmwaahhaa...oh man, that bagofleas guy is getting in my head.
