801, 800, 799, 798, 799... damn it...

I have realized I am finally at that point were everything I add to my Registry Set's isn't necessarily going to help me move up much if any. According to the Total Registry Points I have 361 slabbed books either in my possession or currently sitting at my LCS awaiting to be placed in my possession. I know have far more as I keep putting up requests for new Sets but until that time am proud of what I have now and will continue to show them off as I go.

But how many of us look at that number when ever we add a slab to our set's? How many as soon as they hit save and the pop-up says this has been added immediately look to see if their position has changed so much that they are on a whole new page? Then again when the heartache of "Sorry not available" shows up and my typical 24 points don't get to be placed its almost as if a tear wells up in the corner of my eye and a gasp of "no" is quietly said from my bunk.

I guess its the competitor in me that always wants to shoot upwards in the listing and to hopefully break into the 500's by this time next year. But honestly it isn't just an up hill battle but more like a Himalayan cliff with what I enjoy and gain points for verses what others enjoy. Oh well, until next time.
