Xmen set updated...

I was reading a copy of TOS the other day and noticed an advertisement for the other Marvel books that were published that same month. These are found under the section labeled The Mighty Marvel Checklist...Marvelous Mags On Sale Right Now! Unfortunately not every issue gets a preview, but those that did have now been added to the comic descriptions in my Xmen The Missing Years set. Some of them are pretty corny, but some just suck you in. Makes me wonder who wrote them, maybe Stan, who knows.

One of my favorites was promoting Fantastic Four 104...

The fighting FF...versus Magneto...versus Sub Mariner! A thousand surprises! A million thrills! And oh, that ending!

Cmon, you know you wanna go read that book right now! Thats one of the great things about picking up reading copies...you just dont get all the cool ads, articles, letters page, or that great old comic scent from a TPB.
