Picked up a couple of nice issues...

I love it when I ask my LCS owner if he has any new goodies for me to look at and he brings out a couple of long boxes from the back filled with Silver Age goodness! This week I was able to peruse some Tales to Astonish and Captain America back issues among other things. I walked out of there with Cap 105 in VF featuring Batroc for 15 bucks and Tales to Astonish 48 in VG featuring the first appearance of The Porcupine for 35. To me these are the kinds of books that make comic collecting so much fun. Plus I always get a kick out of holding them in my hand thinking wow, I wasnt even born when these were made.

The TOS 48 is especially cool. I remember seeing The Porcupine for the first time with a handful of other villains who partnered up with Count Nefaria to try and take down my mutant heroes in Xmen 22. In this, his first appearance, I even get to see what he looks like without his mask. Also, Im looking forward to reading the Cap issue considering Batroc will be featured in the new Cap movie. Let the good times roll...
