The book that never was...

I picked up what I would say is a NM copy of Giant Size Super Stars number 1 from my LCS awhile back. It features a cool Hulk vs. Thing cover and I thought maybe this was some reprint that Marvel rewrapped in a new cover, but no it actually was a new story and I really enjoyed it. I even considered getting it graded, but after checking eBay even 9.6 copies weren't selling at low prices so I decided just to keep it raw in my collection...it may not have investment value, but at least I have a very nice reading copy.

So as I was looking through the ads and reading the previews...I know Im not the only one who enjoys doing this on these 60s and 70s books...I saw a preview for Giant Size Super Stars 2 featuring Morbius vs. Spiderman vs. Man Wolf. As it turns out, that book was never published and the Giant Size Super Stars title ended after issue 1, but it did continue in a way with Giant Size Fantastic Four 2. Now I'm wondering if that Spiderman story was ever published and just under a different title maybe, does anyone know?
