Actually, Frank Millers' Batman is...but, you knew what I meant!!

Well, with the new Batman movie on it's way to theaters (The Dark Knight) and with pre-release reviews near the top of the hysteria chart ( there's no hysteria chart? there should be!!) I have been in a deep re-read of the "Year One" series by Frank Miller, and even after all these years, the stories and artwork are simply timeless.

I have also been re-reading Millers' "Dark Night" series, and am awed by everything about his treatment of the Batman stories.

I am glad thatr Miller was born in my time, and has treated the stories and characters with such an edge, without Miller, we may have never been treated to such great movies based (sometimes very loosley) on his work.

Always a Frank Miller fan!!
