Finally Breaking 700

Am I reaching a Milestone?

I collect what I want how I want and well, quite frankly what I can afford. I love getting My New Mutants run. I am having fun trying to get some Daredevil's and X-men's. I seem to be stagnant in my other two that I wish to complete (Longshot and Marvel Secret Wars). I just entered in a few more books I purchased through E-bay. I have five more in my book bag I will try to enter in tonight.

Those additional five will throw me over the 700 mark for my registry place. I know this is calculated by points, a point system I do not get. I realize that demand is what places a book in a higher point tier, so does the age of the book, a combination of the two really help ones placement on the registry. until recently most of my books have been 35 points here, and 25 there.

It has been noted in these journals before(Surfer99) about points (you should read them). One of the books I am searching for in a 9.8 has a ridiculously high price tag compared to the points it would achieve (35). I am fine with that (the points not the price), especially since I am not shelling out that type of money(at least not yet) It is New Mutants #98.

Do I collect by points? I don't think so. Am I happy when I hit a milestone? I have to admit I am (I was happy when one of my journals got it's first one hundred views) and when I get to work tonight, in the early stretches of the morning (about 4am)I plan on finally entering into the six hundred range. To me it is a milestone akin to collecting a book for a hundred issues straight, or maybe like reaching another birthday.

Thanks for Reading
