  1. Yes, you will get them in an email. This does add time to the overall process. I've had it done twice before, getting the email after I've received the books back. The first time was about a week after the books made it home, the second time it was about a month (!). The email actually came from a person at ngccoin.com, based on their email domain.
  2. @CrystalM CS, this is fantastic news. Keep up the great work!
  3. I'm quite stunned/amazed/incredulous/happy that a 3 book Economy submission that started Pressing on Feb 10 just hit Grading on Feb 15. Is that even possible? I realize that TATs have improved, but this isn't even Fast Track. How can this be? cb
  4. Why am I reminded of Uncle Colm from Derry Girls? ... Oh, and "In", btw...
  5. wow, was it still attached to the bike?
  6. @Gaard i'm just catching up on this thread, you like likely know this already, but the shipping tracking number is on the page listing all your submissions.
  7. @Stefan_W Hi I may have missed this, but what do you mean you modified your process a bit?
  8. Exactly... I guess the Assassin was talking in a deep male voice until she was revealed, where afterwards she then spoke in a feminine voice.... At least that's the way I read it the first time
  9. Good morning, @MattM CS Hi Matt, just giving this a bump, I'm wondering where we are on this? Had assumed this would have been given a bit of a higher priority, as I've read with other similar cases. thanks cb
  10. yup! totally aware of that. this is more of a follow-up to get insight on the problem child. The status for the order hasn't changed from Grading/Quality Control since all this back and forth started to happen. I was just checking back in as to where we were.
  11. oh, i know. I'm WELL aware of the TATs. This is a request for a status of a book that was part of a submission that had accidently skipped pressing and was graded and encapsulated. Once the error had been realized, they were all sent back to CCS for pressing, re-graded and re-encapsulated. Then something was picked up in QA on one book, and they were sent back to CCS for yet another press (and re-grade, etc.) . These books are usually given a higher priority because of the time already invested in the process. I'm very happy that a defect was caught before it left the door, I was just wondering where we were at. Just givin' ya the short version
  12. Hello, can someone give me an update on this submission? We're at 30 calendar days since the quoted post, which was 2 weeks after the return to CCS. As I understand, one book needed to be re-pressed and re-graded, but I don't have visibility as to where it is. (btw, the quote says all books will be regraded, hoping that's a typo). thanks cb
  13. You may already know about this, but I can give you my experiences for context: I've paid for photos twice: a month ago, I got the photos the same same day as the shipping email. That was an Express submission of 3 comics. The other time was today actually also 3 comics on a Standard sub: I received the photos today (the 19th) , and the books were shipped out August 12. The photos came from an email from the photo editor at NGC, btw.
  14. If you've got the time, we've got the beer
  15. I can chime in on that. I had an order greater than 8 months and it dropped off the My Submissions page some time ago. Today, it re-appeared on the page with a status of Ready for Grading, along with the ability to view all the books in the submission, just like all my other more recent submissions. Hope this helps cb
