  1. That book is on my "gotta have" list when i start collecting again.
  2. This is what i was told from gerber themselves. The shiny side in a regular backing board does nothing. Gerber's boards are not shiny at all and are a true acid-free board. The regular backing board is good for 3-5 years under the right conditions. The coating provides a little bit of help but nothing compared to an EGerber backing board. Jeff
  3. :makepoint: stay out of this PUNK!~ YOU.. Do not get to call me that. Only Jeff from Hotflips. And that is because I called him that first when he was walking into the store and he had no idea who said it, cuz I was sitting in my truck. He turned around like he was ready to fight. And it was me laughin at him. Fool!!! Shut up and take it like the hooker you is shut the up you punk b You dirty
  4. Thanks!! It was a pleasure talking to you as well. Good luck with the show!!
  5. Well to be honest, i was never good in chemistry but i dont know how they would react to one another. Once thing is acid-free and the other has to contain some form one way or another. I think a mylar with a full-back is still the best and safest route.
  6. The problem with the toploader is that they are made from PVC, so no matter how much China says that they are archival, they are not. They are good for short term. We cant hold on to them long enough here. A lot of people buy them with the sole purpose of using them for shipping. They are not meant for long-term storage. But they do look great in them!!
  7. , We do have an acrylic fabrication business. Let me know the size,
  8. I've never known that to stop comic book collectors. If Gerber made them, id carry them.
  9. Imagine what a 4mil archive cost, whick is not sturdy enough by itself to support a comic book, then multiply that at least 10 times so you have a sturdy mylar. its just not cost effective i guess.
