  1. Hello. Does anyone else ASM 26 Grassetti variant have scuffing inside the slab? If so, would I be able to send back to CGC to get reholdered?
  2. Hello. What mylar should I use to fit, and protect, my CGC Magazine size slabs? Does MyLites or BCW make sleeves for magazine size slabs?
  3. So it’s a manufacturing error as it was damaged during the manufacturing process, why should that go against the grade?
  4. Here is some more photos, there was no evidence of residue in the poly-bag, I think this damage could have happened through manufacturing
  5. Hello all. I recently removed my adventures of Superman 500 platinum edition from the polybag, the removal went great, but I noticed that there was a piece of Jonathan Kent’s arm missing, I immediately checked the polybag, and there was nothing to indicate the polybag damaged the book. So my question is, is this a manufacturing error? Because that damage was on the book while inside the poly bag, which was sealed.
  6. I wonder how much “a limited number of complimentary copies” there will be circulating?
  7. Hello all. Will ASM 26 Grassetti variant really be limited to 200? I heard that the rest of the copies will be burned after CGC grades the 200
  8. Hello all. I just bought this CGC 8.5 Vampirella 1, the pictures the seller provided looked great, however when I got the book I noticed there is a crease that runs the length of the book, I looked up the grader notes and found that there is none, which I find odd, this silver age key should have been issued grader notes. Aside from the crease the book looks great. Can this kind of crease be pressed out?
  9. I think people are waking up to this fact, a CGC 9.6 newsstand edition of Static 1 just sold on eBay for $400. It would be interesting to see what a 9.8 would sell for.
  10. I think high grade newsstand editions of this book are going to end up being the most valuable, they may not be the most rare, but I wager they are the most rare in high grade, I’m talking 9.8, maybe even 9.6.
  11. It still doesn’t account for the fact that very high grade newsstand editions of Static 1 in a 9.8, even 9.6, rarely pop up, and certainly seem tougher to find in high grade than other editions, including the platinum edition. Maybe in a few years the census will reflect more accurate data, in the meantime I’m keeping my eyes peeled for high graded newsstand copies of Static 1, which also has the superior cover imo.
  12. Anyone know how many copies of Static #1 graded are newsstand editions? I know the platinum edition is a limited print and has only 68 copies graded so far in a 9.8, are the newsstand editions in high grade even more rare than the platinum edition? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 9.8 newsstand of Static 1.
  13. Hello, I am just wondering if there are any mylar sleeves for magazine size slabs, aside from the ones CGC ships your books in?
  14. Hello, I recently purchased this book and it seems to have a small stain or colour rub on the top part of the comic, otherwise the book looks immaculate. My question is, how much points does a small stain or colour rub, such as the one pictured, effect the grade? Can an issue like this grade a NM?
