  1. Nice book...not my thang...but whatever floats your boat Holmes
  2. Buy all you want, short barrel. At least I wouldn't go so far as to post your personal information on a web page with a link to it on a public message board. They are both egging each other on and acting like brats just trying to see which one can land the last punch before the chaperons coming along to break it up. I hope you're not referring to me Doc. Show me one post where I have responded to anything coming my way from that guy since a week last sunday...you won't find one. My sig line is no different than other people who have thumbnails of their books. I only collect these now...so thats why they are in the sig line. I don't see the problem. I do agree with you about my personal information being bandied around on the Internet having been posted by some overgrown jealous child of a man with too much time on his hands. And for the record. I do not and have not ever bought a Comic book with a Credit Card. I have plenty of funds thankfully and use cash only for the hobby. I have not bid on the FF on comiclink, nor do I intend to. I was not aware of the DD on comiclink at all. Other information is wholly inaccurate as well. I have never EVER hit the Moderator button before, but I have reported this infraction...because as you say so eloquently, it reveals all but my d*ick-size, to whoever...plus a lot of it is just wholly untrue. I used to respect that guy...but he's just a very vindictive sad little man in my eyes now. PS. Doc I appreciate your support. Tommy, I think you should be able to post whatever the boards will allow in your signature line, but don't you think you could put a little more thought behind it. I mean, the first cut being the deepest and all... Doc... these are thumbs for Gods sake...with no links to blow ups. Nowhere does it say they are GRs unless you are Superman with X-Ray vision. And whats the diff anyway? They are Comic books..they are up for grabs...I'm a collector. No-one has a divine right to own all of 'em. I love the books, I'm proud to own them. That is all. Seriously... its a competitive hobby, and I compete...and usually win. My bad? The difference is that Brad knows what they are and you could be a bigger person by showing a little tact until he has a some time to adjust. For sake! Why do you two have to be so damn stubborn and pigheaded? For sake! Copyright TheWatcher used by permission. Well I think I have taken that road already..by not responding to all the sarcasm, snide remarks and general BS thrown at me for the last 10 days by the other member. I will not respond either...not interested.
  3. I see your point Nik, but the Sig line is fluid i.e. it will change every day at least for this week or until my supply dries up for a while. The line will contain only 6 books and one will get pushed out as a higher graded one comes in. I don't see the problem. I don't worry about what other people have got in their inventory..why should they care about mine? How can my meagre collection of about 16 or so threaten anyone?

  6. You have nice SA DCs, Goonchild. Incedibly, it still seems that not many of us collect in that area. Superman #189 was one of the scarcer books on the CGC census up to late 2004, when a substantial number of multi-packs emerged, containing this issue. The census rapidly increased for nice 189s! Many Thanks. (thumbs u
  7. Sweet book, and ok, no this time. What keeps it as a 7.5, it looks much higher from the scan Thanks for the positive (thumbs u As regards the grade...its a beautiful book which looks in the flesh like a 9.4...until you discover a small sort of grease/dirty fingermark type stain on the back cover plus a half inch crumple type crease in the lower corner as well. Hence the grade I guess...but its still a very nice book.
  8. If you're being ironic then I agree... The writers at DC at that time did'nt their stretch their imaginations and grey matter it seems.
  9. True... guess it'll have to be Freebie & The Bean then
  10. ...oh, and nice book (thumbs u ...oh, and thanks (thumbs u
  11. Nice book. (thumbs u And very high profile lately. Cheers. (thumbs u
