I do know a local collector/ drinking buddy who has a near complete Baker collection. He views the boards but doesn't participate. Another local guy has submitted most of his Bakers to Clink for auction. They are probably the copies now being offered in their upcoming auctions.

Great books being posted, guys. I recently started rescanning some books in my collection. I may have posted some of these in the past with my old scanner. This one was put into a magazine sized holder. Tied for highest. I picked this up from a local collector from Md. 12 years ago. 2nd highest. At 6.0, tied for highest grade. This one is kind of tough to find, I think. I would love to know the providence of this copy. Was there a Mile High copy? I don't have a catalog list.

There is some significant rippling on the BC typical of giant sized issues. I probably should have it pressed before slabbing.

Still one of my favs. Probably the biggest steal in my comic collecting experience. $45.00 my last San Diego Con in 2005.

What is a joke are the assigned points to all the St. John romance titles. Plus CGC closed the thread for reviewing them.

I was lucky to start collecting most of these books 10-15 years ago. Nice copies are scarce to find these days.

Excuse me I have 3 number ones. Diary Secrets , Pictorial Romances and WTR. CGC is so expense now, it's ridiculous. I 'm in no hurry to get them back. I'll probably submit another batch next month. Hmm.., I 'll have to re-check to see where I have to catch up to, Yorick.

Is this site ever going to open again? Just crazy low points on all the St.John publications with Matt Baker covers and art. Example: Teenage Romances # 32. My copy, an 8.5, assigned 206 points. FMV right now is $4-5K for this copy. I could go on for great lengths with examples. I don't understand why the site is still locked!? I cannot believe it about budget issues or something. JT
