Seems like some things went really cheap in boosters auction but the HOS 101 went for a super high price
Secrets of Sinister House 6, CGC 9.6 $52.00
GPA $131
Thats super cheap. (Didn't get my snipe in time)
House of Secrets 151, CGC 9.6 $37.01 (I was happy with the price on that)
Phantom Stranger 26, CGC 9.4 $34.00
Ghosts 7, CGC 9.4 $70.45 (Good price)
House of Secrets 101, CGC 9.6 $315.00

Great books. Nice to see what some of these top cenus books looks like.
So all 3 HOS 81's 9.4's are from pedigrees. Two from PaCoast and one from Oakland
-
Thats a great looking book. One of these days I'll have to find a low grade copy.
-
Great books!
That 175 is a toughy.

OMFG!
...too bad the centering is off. That's the excuse I need not to chase the book.
Where is that for sale?
Too bad about the centering, but still nice.

Im getting worried, so far no book. No money charged to my card. I e-mailed them Thursday.

Well the price was good

Great QP on those "high grade" copies.
There was sure some interesting sales on those Comiclink auctions.
Honestly I'm not shocked at the low price of the HOS 88 9.4 considering how ugly that book looked.

I only got one book Unexpected 124.

It was finally a decent looking issue without those common scratches running though the side of the book.
If you look at both the 9.6 and 9.0 copies you'll see a common printing error with the book.
-
That's by far the best one I've ever seen
-
...but it was only a 9.0
-
Nice pick up on the HOM 196 while a little pricey at least you didn't get stuck with that huge bill on the 193 9.8
You also got a steal on the #233

Nice books. Do you have a scan of the 9.6 Weird War 13. I love that book
Tons of CGC copies have surfaced lately (at least 3)...purchased this raw from bobcat.
by request
I may have to pick one up.
Thanks for the scan. Yea there was an overgraded 9.0 and the two 9.6's. Yours and the one I got. Now I need a decent 12.

Also hows your Forbidden Tales 10. Do you want to get rid of your 9.4 now?

Heroes had a HUGE HUGE stash of high grade Witching Hour 3's. Many/most had poor page quality. However I suspect many of the HG copies came out of their batch. 3 is by far the easiest copy to get below issue 15.
-
So seriously whats the grade?
-
What can we expect from your sale

Nice book!!

Personally I've seen most of those in high grade. I had a harder time finding a decent 13. The one book I would without doubt agree with you on is 17. I never see that one in high grade. I bought a 8.5/9.0 copy from Doug Suplia and was super happy to get it. I've never seen that book above 9.0. 15 is somewhat tough also but I've seen a couple that would grade above 9.0. If you want to get rid of that FTDM #9 let me know.

I took a quick digital photo to show you an example of the different image area from the Unexpecteds and the WW13's. As you can see the Unexpected is cropped low at the top but it gives much more image area on the bottom. On the WW13 as you can see the new book I bought has more image area on both the bottom and on the side.
I keep some lower grade books just because they show more image area. Everyone in a while I get lucky and find a slightly oversized book that really shows off more image area.

I love looking at that 177.
