  1. My sales have been strange. Like super super slow when markets take a pounding (like today), but then a day later when the market does ok I get more than I was expecting. Overall though its impacting me a bit. Seems like people are jittery but haven't stopped buying.
  2. Great episode but its part 1 of a 4 part arc so some may want to wait before watching.
  3. The soundtrack doesn't get enough credit. Love it!
  4. Didn't realize Chad Stahelski was helping with this. I'm totally there!
  5. 2 wasn't as exciting as 1 but still a fun watch. Enjoyed the intro Mars attack.
  6. Some really cool behind the scenes shots https://assets.adg.org/media/submissions/2019-12-27_11-27-04/SW_ADG_PDF.pdf
  7. You don't need to even read the 2010 article because again everything in the 2015 article refutes the idea for a negative in his own article. That's why in the 2015 article the librarian says he has 35mm prints which is the same as the 2010 article. The author just didn't understand. He watched 6 reels at 2K. Thats a 35mm print.
  8. The author simply debunks own article with his own information. He confirms he's watching a 35mm print when he talks about 6 reals and stuff on the outside of each real. Also the librarians are all in agreement in both articles. A movie goes through various steps. You have a Negative, Sep. Master, IP etc. A 35mm print isn't a negative. A negative will get you around 6K of resolution give or take. A 35mm print from Star Wars will get you around 2K which is what the LOC scanned the print at. https://www.savestarwars.com/filmpreservation.html
  9. Sadly a lot of misinformation on this subject. This article makes some errors and they often confuse original 35mm prints with negatives. The Library of congress owns prints just as they stated, not the negatives. They own the 6 reels. Tiny white scratches flash across the screen. That's because the six files I'm watching actually represent the six reels of the original film. Stuff on the outside of each reel is a bit banged up; film that was on the inside is in far better shape. "What we have are 35mm prints that were submitted for copyright when the films were released," explained Mike Mashon The original negatives were in bad shaped and scanned in 1995. Even then they were falling apart. The scans are from 35mm prints. They often show them as well. 35mm prints were acquired as copyright deposits in March 1978, October 1980, and June 1983 respectively. https://savestarwars.com/lucas-nfr.html https://www.loc.gov/item/prn-18-113/star-wars-under-the-stars-at-the-library-of-congress/2018-09-06/
  10. ICG Magazine has some great new BTS shots from the filming. Well worth the look! https://issuu.com/icgmagazine/docs/feb_mar2020
  11. Yes a great merger of movie and TV with the an emphasis on a more serious tone. (A least this first one) This is on a bar much higher than before in terms of production talent. I loved the serious episodes of Star Trek reminding me of the time we saw Picard back in his vineyard fighting with his brother.
  12. OK Just watched it. Very solid production value combined with good story telling that's building a story. We got just the building blocks of something more. Wonderful cinematography. I really liked it. No major problems. As someone who wasn't much of a fan of ST: Discovery, I really liked this one right away. If you liked Next Gen I strongly suspect you'll want to see this.
  13. New trailer for Clone Wars. Looks so amazing! We have the fall of Mandalore, Darth Maul and even Caleb from Rebels makes a small cameo in the trailer.
  14. I've heard they filmed the Oracle scene. (At least according to Jedi Paxis.) These Sequel trilogy art books have been a real wealth of information connected to various stages of production. For example in the Force Awakens art book, Rey is shown swimming underwater and exploring the Death Star ruins from the early Lucas treatment Funny that you mentioned Rogue One for some reason that movie tends to have the least amount of cut scenes shown yet we know there were massive amount taken out, like the Tie Fighter Scene in the trailer.
  15. Star Wars leaks are on a roll, The Art of TROS came out in South Korea today. Some great artwork. Love some of those dark Rey pieces and the Oracle on Mustafar with Vaders castle in the distance.
  16. So while the (alleged) earlier draft was made 11 days Fishers death, this "final version" makes a bunch of changes: Among some of the biggest changes. No more TOR VALUM, no vampire type powers. Adds a Darth Maul-like character, Sollony Ren. No more Coruscant, Leia dies and doesn't help in final battle Rey has a chance to kill Kylo, but she doesn’t. She tries to get Ben to come back. She forgives him. He has to make a choice — a different kind of balance. Sollony shows up and grabs Kylo. She’s too powerful for Rey to fight off. Rey is beaten down, but when the stone debris is about to crush her, Kylo comes in to save her. Rey takes half of her double saber and gives it to Kylo. Sollony is about to kill Rey, but Ren takes the hit and dies. Then Rey kills Sollony in an age of necessary darkness. Sollony falls dead. Almost dead, Rey knows she has to climb the Jedi Spire, clawing her way up. She enters the Force-based transmissions tower. A lot of stuff moving around Rey with Kyber crystals. She sends her message out to the galaxy with Rey as a projection, saying her full name. Rey Solana. Telling everyone that hope is not lost. Luke tells Rey that she is a Jedi, but not the last. He will never leave her. Life returns to her. Rey glows and wondered if she’s dead, but Yoda tells her there is no death with Jedi. But rey is not finished.
  17. Yet another (alleged) final draft version...of "Duel of the Fates. https://makingstarwars.net/2020/01/i-read-colin-trevorrow-and-derek-connollys-final-star-wars-episode-ix---script/
  18. Mortis stuff is always interesting and welcome. For those who haven't seen Clone Wars, or Rebels its worth checking out. There is another (Unverified) -script out there that goes way more into the Mortis stuff. (I think I posted a link earlier)
  19. Here's a more detailed description of what was in (alleged) --script. Looks like some chunks were never finished but here are a few takeaways: Poe has a crush on Rey throughout the -script. Rey keeps pushing for Poe to leave, going so far to try to Mind Trick him, but Poe resists. There is a back and forth with Mind Trick and ultimately Rey kisses Poe, causing him to submit to the Mind Trick and leave. Rey is still a nobody, but twist....Kylo killed Rey parents. Rey stands over Kylo and separates her dual lightsaber. As the force energy surrounds her like a glow, Kylo seethes. He tries to extract the living Force out of Rey. He gets stronger and stands. His face rejuvenates, allowing him to remove the metal attachment. Rey gets weaker, dying she pleads Ben to stop. Leia sensing all of this, reaches out to Kylo. She begs him to come home. He feels what Vader felt when confronted with Luke's pain and grabs Rey's hand, returning her life force. "Both the light and the dark swirl within Rey as Kylo is reduced to an empty shell." In his dying breath, Kylo reveals Rey's last name is "Solana." He dies. Rey lays on the stone slab still injured. "Light fills up the space around her. Particles of energy floating up. She rises with the energy. The light engulfs the frame until we reach a place beyond what we know. The Astral Plane." Yoda, Luke, and Obi Wan appear before her. Rey: "Is this death?" Obi-Wan: "In this place, there is no such thing as death." Yoda reveals Rey succeeded were they failed. Luke: "You choose to embrace the dark side and the light. To find the balance within." They offer Rey a choice to stay in the comfort of the Astral Plane or to return to the living where she will experience both love/loss. The spirits fade. Obi-Wan: "You are a Jedi, Rey Solana, but you will not be the last."
