Why are all the Stan Lee signatures on the back cover? As someone who worked in the memorabilia industry for 15 years, working for places like Steiner Sports.. for example: I have never seen anyone decide to get a Kings puck signed by Gretzky on the back where the kings logo ISN'T. You can make a case for "he was trying to not ruin the front cover art" but signature placement is a HUGE deal when it comes to getting a premium. You don't get Slash to sign the back of a Les Paul, just like you don't get someone to sign on the back of an 8x10 photo. Game worn jerseys are the only thing I see people getting signed on the inside, as to not detract from the game-worn aspect of it. All that being said, why did CBS decide to be a "trend setter" and getting stacks and stacks of huge silver age keys signed by Stan on the back cover. Nothing to me, is more fishy than that.

Not sure if this was posted yet, but I think we've got someone who won't quit... https://www.ebay.com/itm/285635539914?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=_uMygmInQoK&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=SJUp2xm2Sf6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Either it's Briva listing with a consignment or someone taking the photos and listing something they don't have

I mentioned it on the live stream, mostly because of the press release wording and timing of them announcing the scans - "Imaging all comics and magazines after encapsulation and making them available online is the latest way that CGC is adding value, safety and transparency to the pop culture collectibles market. Now, when collectors enter a collectible’s CGC certification number to confirm its description and grade in the CGC database, they will also be able to reference an image of the collectible. This will help collectors verify that their CGC holder is genuine and has not been tampered with."

So I posted a more complicated version of this a few days ago, but I am still trying to wrap my head around this, as I don't believe anything in this is a coincidence. (sorry if this has already been addressed after my original post about it) Before Briva3 removed all his stuff from ebay he had an Uncanny X-Men 266 9.8 MJ custom label up - it looked like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/285608152331?hash=item427f928d0b:g:ceUAAOSw1BZle72M Upon checking the Cert # - you see it's already labeled a Mark Jewelers, but not a custom label. I refuse to believe that anything he is selling coincidently has some type of error on cgc's end i.e. not updating the scan for a reholder. So what are we looking at here? Is this skewing a little towards an inside person who forgot to update the scan? my brain hurts.

Nope, I didn't know who he was until we discovered the ASM 252 photos, 9.9 knew who of him for a few weeks, I think only because of the fact that all those 9.8 MJs hit grailz in November. But I remember checking his IG profile before he made it private and not many people followed him. So overall, some people in the high end book buying community knew him but most people did not know he even existed. Which all makes sense...why make yourself known to a lot when you're ripping people off

Not really comfortable with putting any names out there. Because if the name I know is wrong or anything like that, I am putting myself in a situation that I don't want to be in. I can say, that according to multiple people who bought some of the books off IG, that name is known to a lot of the buyers as it is.

A little confused at this. 9.9 didn't take a picture of anyone at a convention, if that's what you're implying, nor it was never said he took a picture of anyone. Screenshots of the IG DMs that Zaneglor sent was the only thing that you might be talking about. But if I'm misunderstanding whats being said here please enlighten me, thanks!

I keep finding weird inconsistencies in his subs/books - if it is to be believed 100% that you can see everything in a submission just by continuing the last 3 numbers. This book UXM 266 9.8 Cert # 2120143023 custom label which Briva sold on 11/21/23 - when you look up the cert and see it was graded on 10/30/23 *going on what I am led to believe* when you look up the 2 books after (024) (025) or (022 021) - you can see these were part of a submission in 2020 - so leads me to believe they rescan when they reholder - and that's what he did as part of his M.O. SO - with that in mind The UXM MJ 9.8 he pulled off ebay when the mess hit the fan is gone from ebay, I was able to get a photo of it - When you check the cert number 4301294003 you can see it was graded 8/4/23 and the scans show a standard blue label, but if he reholdered it, why didn't they scan it? What I am questioning here is the fact that there are LOTS of inconsistencies in his submissions on CGC's end. Maybe I am just going insane tho. This is so convoluted and I am really sorry if you want to beat me with a dead fish.

I need some help here just cause my glasses wearing stupid eyes can't confirm. The asm 194 9.8 Briva sold on 10/3/23 and the second set of pics is a 9.6 that sold on ebay on 4/29/23 Wrap is the same, notch below the bar code is the same, the mark on back is the same (although it does appear on at least 1 other book) but the giveaway to me is the top, you can see in the hi-res photos that it has some red spray, and you can faintly see it in the 9.6 - BUT the white notch is in the same spot above the "CS" in Marvel comics group
