So what's the process? Do we just add him and who were the members that stated he belonged on that list permanently?

If people who are against could post their reasons then that would probably help towards integrating it if it ever did happen. If there's something about it people don't like then maybe that could be worked around to make a larger amount of boardies happy

I love the idea Gav. Then I can get rid of some of these nasty Silver Age books for the Copper and Moderns that I love.

how much are we talking about with the deals gone bad? my deal was for a book at $225. but i'm hoping that everything will work out.

I think it is not the amount that matters. It is the approach and handling of the situation. There must have been over 10 buyers on that last thread because the prices were so incredible.

Know what I mean? We start saying complaints shouldn't occur unless it is a certain dollar amount, you let someone build up the courage to start pushing the envelope, but never to that amount.

Yep that's real bad form. Knowingly owing people money/books then having the minerals to come on here to buy? If it was me who he owed I know for a fact I'd be truly pissed at that.

We all need to jump on that immediately because this is not right if he is on the probation list that he is then just doing what he wants.

I think hitting the list a third time deserves a perm-ban place on the list. If this list is to be a "living document" if you will then when new cases arise, it should be re-evaulated. This is the first case that someone is on the list for the third time.

 

Personally, a two-time offender should remain on the list but that is just me. I truly don't believe that turning 18 will cause a turn around. He has shown his true nature to me with repeated behavior.

I think we are agreed, he stays on the list as three times is a double repeat offender. That's an additional time too many for me.

I did not realize that he was a minor. I just looked at his profile and it does state he is under 18.

So this is the THIRD time he is on the list?

How about this time he is banned from buying or selling until he turns 18 and shows a level of responsibility to be dealing with collectors in the sales forum? This playing around just shows he didn't take the warnings seriously before.

I say leave him on there for quite a while and really drive it home now.
