  1. Now that is an impressive lot of Miller Daredevils.
  2. I'd love to get the count myself as I wonder if it was just more folks hoarding these away than low production numbers. Them seem to be coming up more raw, even though there are only 4 CGC 9.8s.
  3. Thanks so much to campued1010 for once again making buying from him a total pleasure. Some super X-Men books packed extremely secure to avoid the 2009 USPS Package Polo Games, and quickly shipped. Andre, you are one of the best sellers to deal with!
  4. A few weeks before a copy sold for $68, so you only paid $21 above that. Animation-america and I were exchanging emails about why there weren't more before you bought it. Still, a nice book to have.
  5. Honestly? If he has what they want, and the price is what they'll pay, then yes. Sad but true. Not all of us share your muddied moral ambiguity, Rocky. So speak for yourself next time and not for the "collective," as you are want to do. But you'll never read this because of your dire case of butthurt. Ho hum.
  6. When your hair hangs down like one of the Monkeys, it's called a "Cap_Freak." But you have to maintain a really silly look when you go full Cap_Freak. There's no chance of going part-way and pulling it off.
  7. Just try to keep me from replying. Just try. Touche. Or, to remember a fallen board member (that deserved it), douchee Now I see who Cap_Freak studied business ethics & etiquette under Oh, we have not seen the last of that little scallywag. He's learning CAP LOCK 101 right about now, and is a proud fraternity brother of Scamda Scamda Scamda, California Chapter.
  8. OKAY. ALL'S FORGIVEN. SEE, EVEN MY CAPS ARE GETTING SMALLER. Whoa! Cap locks off now. All that anger makes a guy thirsty. Where's that chocolate Coke? I SOLD IT TO ANOTHER GUY WHO CAME IN. YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD BUY IT (IN MY MIND) AND WHEN YOU DIDNT HOLD UP YOUR END OF THE BARGAINE I HAD TO CUT MY LOSSSES>

  10. Hey, Gav, when we joked about me finding books for you, and you came back with "Batman? Heck no! Find me Barbies and I'll pay you $100 each." Well, I took that as a binding contract, and bought all the Barbies I could find. I'll send you the list so you can tell me you are taking the entire list. AND I BETTER GET MY MONEY OR I'LL GET UPSET AND TYPE IN CAPS. WATCH IT, PAL!

  12. This thread is just chock-full of good entertainment. Went do we talk about pressing and scanners?
  13. Two great characters from an amazing company. Glad I never parted with my Dark Horse Presents 1s. That first issue said it all how powerful the characters were that would fall under the DH banner.
  14. After all the high prices realized it may cool a little, but as soon as the excitement picks up again with the release of the movie (and especially with the actors involved), I'm assuming it will bounce back again. And the few shots from this animated film have me excited to see this come out.
  15. There's a nicer way of presenting an alternate position. It doesn't have to come across confrontational or condescending to make a point.
  16. This is just like "The Invincibles" situation where a few books were considered the 1st appearance for a while, but then it turned out it was just preview material. I wonder if there is another book out there like this containing Goon material.
  17. I have to agree with the forumites that recommend just not buying in a thread if you don't agree with the prices. Trey taking the approach of listing a previous sale on eBay in someone's sales thread and stating "Match this and I'll buy your book" was really unprofessional, though his point was to show a real-world sale as GPA does not always list all sales if they are below the average. Posting eBay sale in someone's sales thread Save those type real-world price examples for PMs between the parties, rather than bringing it up in the sales thread. If the seller won't budge, move on. No sales teaches someone, over time, they need to do a little more research before posting.
  18. Right back at ya for helping further build out my Frank Miller Daredevil collection.
  19. Thanks so much to akaSteveRogers for a super book and Green Lantern DVD packaged extra secure for safe delivery. Another super transaction with a great seller!
  20. That is so amazing to find historic information like that. But looking at the other submitters, they definitely had some tough competition at that age. Thanks for sharing!
