  1. Ewwww, I like that rule. Can we get everyone to follow that?
  2. That's right, I forgot. Shawn's was eBay, and Mike's was on the forum. The rule is 30 days, and he has time. No matter if we know he is not going to follow up, we do have to wait. Otherwise, any seller out of frustration can throw names on the list and then getting paid before 30 days. It will be a nightmare administering that Probation List.
  3. I'd say that's about long enough for someone to think about what they've done, not follow up with sellers, and establish they just don't respect the seller-buyer rules. But then again, he was saving up for his replacement ride. Ain't she a beauty? And at least if someone tries to hit it in the parking lot, he's guaranteed they'll still be there when he returns. It was either that or the Ben Hur 3000 with protective wheel spikes.
  4. Thank you so much to comicguy12901 for some great raw books from the VCC that were expertly packaged for safe delivery, and solidly graded. Dave, thanks for being a professional and caring seller. I won't forget that!
  5. You hit it right on the head Pat. And to hear that someone also pulled a book from their eBay store because they had a commitment on a sale was just another bad decision on the buyer's part. Shawn had to relist, which I'm not sure if this led to another insertion fee, but it's the principle of the situation that is troubling.
  6. Most of us knew where you were going with this, Chris. Valid questions when it comes to a situation of a few books not being paid for.
  7. He also had me pull a book from my ebay store about 2 months ago with promise of payment.I never recieved payment and later sold the book back on ebay. I never committed to buying that book, hmm now I know where all that hostility was coming from. Yes,you did,and you know you did. I hope this works out for everyone.
  8. So then all you would see is like 10 posts a day on the board. You sure you want that? Really.............that many??? Okay, so I was being optimistic. Forgive me!

  10. I think after reading everyone's response to your comment, and from reading your own post (e.g. I for one), the issue is not a given transaction, but many bad transactions. This doesn't have to equate to every transaction being bad in order to be on the Hall of Shame list. It just takes a few really bad engagements to lay the wrong groundwork. So you are probably right - you for one had a good experience. But that should be the norm - not the unique experience.
  11. I totally agree with you on this book. It was a great concept to have a "silent issue," and the artwork really carried the story well since there was no talking. If someone gave me one as a Christmas gift, I sure wouldn't be upset. But I wouldn't spend the extreme money that is going around for 9.8 copies.
  12. Fans "read" issue #21? The silent issue? Just kidding you. Your logic makes a lot of sense.
  13. Thanks to The Resurrection for the great books and super packing. Much appreciated!
  14. Another beauty by a much-missed artist. Super book!
  15. Trooper could take him from the descriptions he provides. Hands down!
  16. Definitely! A good start, but it took this long to resolve the situation, and it could take just as long (if not longer) to ease the bad feelings with ALL buyers that were involved.
  17. Wow, that advice looks familiar. You seeing a pattern of what folks are suggesting and expecting Connor? I'd read those suggestions over again, let it sink in, and then take a hard look at how to appropriately approach the future.
  18. Because YOU bring it up with those comments about how persecuted you are. Let it drop, let time go by, and see where things are at and how board members feel in dealing with you. But meanwhile, I'd make a strong recommendation to apologize to the people you wronged. That is THE biggest gap right now after all you did.
