Certified Collectibles Group to Acquire James Spence Authentication
CGC Mike replied to Ryan.'s topic in Comics General
It is my understanding that you can submit a combined CGC and JSA certification at a CGC booth. However, it you only want a JSA authentication, you will have to go to a JSA booth. Currently we do not offer a JSA certification only. That is why you have to go to a JSA booth for that. Can I submit my comic for JSA autograph authentication only? Autographed comics must be submitted for combined CGC and JSA certification services. The autograph on the comic will be authenticated by JSA and then seamlessly transferred to CGC for grading and encapsulation. -
Hi I just communicated with the Customer Service Director regarding this. Here is what it covers. Sometimes it doesn’t apply to CCS automatically. If it didn’t catch it, we can contact accounting and have them apply it.

When in doubt summon CGC Mike. He doesn't just moderate this forum, he also advocates to the best of his ability for us when there's problems. This may take a little time but, I believe we can accommodate. The database specialist is still out and a very busy person. If I don't hear anything by end of day on Monday, I will contact other team members. Also, the census updates once a week. I believe everything that has shipped by Friday afternoon will show up on Wednesday. I am not sure if a change shows up immediately or not. If we can get it changed in the census, we can then move forward with getting the notation on the label fixed.
-
I will speak with our specialist. If we can change the census to origin and 1st app, we can then look into getting the notation fixed on your book.
-
Ok, I can ask the census be changed. Does your slab list the origin of Mister Atom?
-
Origin & First appearance are in the same book (Page #2 & Page #3) Ok. Do you guys think the census should list Origin and first appearance of Mister Atom? If so, I can ask our database specialist to change this.
-
Does your book note the origin of Mister Atom?
-
Hi I am sorry this has happened to you. It should have been noted Origin of Mr Atom as shown in the screenshot below. This can be sent back to us as a mechanical error with label defect being the reason. If you fill out a submission form, select mechanical error as a label defect Be sure to put a reason (missing "Origin of Mr Atom). After you fill out the form, a prepaid shipping label will be sent to you through our website. (not be e-mail) Also, write ME in multiple places on the outside of the box. We will correct this, and ship it back to you at no charge. If you need further assistance with this, just let me know. Regarding the total amount due slip. We do not ship out submissions with a balance due. Mike

Hi I believe if we received them prior to your membership expiring, they will still be graded. @KaileeS CS or @MattM CS is this correct?
