  1. I was going to say 5.0 but others are fairly convincing on 4.5
  2. Wouldn't foxing automatically make it a 9.4 max?
  3. 4.0/4.5 based on these pictures. Man, this book is thicker than I thought. I'm in the market for a SS copy but I didn't know it was that big!
  4. I'll go 9.4. That's not the slightest bit of foxing on the back near the staple, is it?
  5. I was thinking 9.2 with a press. I just had my copy of this book downgraded from a 9.8 to 9.6 adding Rubinstein to the Claremont I had in 9.8. Annoying. Now I'm sending it to a Shooter signing and hopefully another press and bump back up.
  6. Paul Smith Steve Seagle Dan Green (man, searching for him at cons is always annoying because there's an actor with the same name) Mark Millar
  7. my thoughts exactly and I really don't think it's a stain. The color is just too print-y to be a stain I think. 5.0-5.5
  8. 3.5 was my guess without reading the commentary. GL.
  9. Hello @VitoCo1972 I will bring this issue up with my colleagues on Friday, I tried to define this book in your set and got the same result. Not sure what the issue is, the cert number checks out, and there are plenty of slots available for that book. I will follow up when I get more information. Thanks! For some reason whenever I try to define 1118828017 as X-Factor #24 in my custom set it just says it's an error. This has been going on for a couple months. Here's the book Any help appreciated. This is what I get, "An error occurred during your last request. The error was logged and will be reported to the webmaster automatically. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your patience." Yes it's defined as a signature book in the custom set. Thanks.
  10. Hey all, anyone able to recommend a good CGC facilitator for FanExpo Chicago? Thanks!
  11. I asked Gerry Conway at a recent signing about John Romita Sr's health and he said he'd heard he was well but "he's over 90!" which made me dubious on a signing although didn't I hear CBCS did something somewhat recently? It'd be pretty amazing if CGC could figure something out. Anyone know if Larry Lieber's health is good at 90?
  12. Had an absolutely flawless transaction with Galen130 this week. Beautiful copy of XFactor 87 that I'd been searching for and communication and shipping were A++. Thanks D!
  13. This is a serious newbie question but does a "facilitator" have the ability to qualify signatures for yellow label signature series autographs. I have slabbed 9.8 books that I'd send in for Jim Shooter if the facilitator also opens slabs and then does the direct submission. Is that a thing? I'm in the same spot w. Joe Rubenstein who is appearing at Pasadena Comic Con next weekend. Would love to get the books signed but they're slabbed and would need a way for CGC to verify signatures.
