Interesting for sure. I'm sure a lot of boardies will be awaiting the grading of this odd situation book 😂

So the book is in route to be cleaned and pressed with the other 2 books I bought that day...that are structurally similar but do not have chews...Then they will be sent off to CGC and I will post the results. The initial thought at CGC is that the book will not Garner a Qualified label and the chew will deduct from the grade, how much depends on obviously factors and the initial grade the book would receive without the chew. So we all wait it out and I'll let you know...

It's going to get pressed and cleaned up and it will be at CGC upcoming. I will post a grade after. I was told it wouldn't qualify as qualified, so that's expected to be out of the equation... But we'll see what happens...

Well with a clean and press this book is higher grade. There's 1 small water spot above the indica on the top left..and I don't have a full back cover picture, I'll add it later,but there's nothing wrong with it, less than the front cover. Will it get a CGC Qualified label or a universal blue like 1.0? Damage doesn't affect anything except the margin... and a tiny spot on the bottom of the spine where the bug got in the book...

Well I can for 1 say I have a picky bug that didn't like the cover(of a comic) except for the bottom of the spine where it entered the book...but ate through every page. Book presents extremely well, higher grade except for this disaster... What's the input on this... Silverfish likely. .5 CGC grade or a 8.0+ qualified.

I'm shocked this book still sits here. If i didnt already have a CGC 7.5 Ow/W id jump all over this book. It will sell to the right person and people will look back at the bargan they missed

I wouldn't sell my CGC 7.5 OW/W for under $10G. I think you are being very realistic and fair, regardless of any GPA sales info etc... thats a pretty book for the ask price. Hope you find your buyer

Bingo... Read my reply above....it puts the onus on someone like you as a sub service for customers having to deal with CGC and an unhappy customer after the fact...

SO...explain how that works, when someone submits through a local comic shop...pressing service...etc...and THEY get the book back 3 weeks later or a month after being subbed..yet THEY are the original submitter...using a facilitator...and THEY'RE like WOHHHH...shards in my slab.... and YOUR 14 day window has expired...and since you say WE, as in YOU are part of the process...so YOU EXPLAIN that please MIKE

Hours are not an issue....DAYS AND AND DAYS are. And you know that Roy. And we all know you, and me...and ETC... Days go buy, seller shows up active on the boards a day here or there...ZERO communication....you get the drift...its not normal selling behavior here...as we have come to want/know after decades... Especially when the only then communication is a wrong tracking #.... If it was a deal between us...there's ways to get an answer....G.A.T.O.R. someone has communication...etc... Not so much here and YOU are right...24 hrs should BE EXPECTED when selling a 4 or 5 figure book..or ANY...and SOMEONE PAYS. Don't GHOST the BOARDS...

I stirred this up? Someone was missing a $8000+ book and filed a PayPal claim before i even went into this, other than i originally asked if anyone had heard from the seller after getting our money and going GHOST...ONCE AGAIN YOU are BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE!!! DUDE YOU NEED TO GET A CLUE...WHICH is why YOU LOST CRED HERE...PEOPLE WILL AVOID YOU SELLING!
