  1. I was thinking the same thing, damn great minds think alike.
  2. I would tell him to sell knives instead.😉
  3. So.... where's the pic of the Creepy #1 ?
  4. I wonder how many of the counterfeits were printed? I do know I have more questions than answers for this crazy book. I dont know if I would pay 4K for an original, but I did pay a reasonable price for my counterfeit. So in a way I have sufficed that completist urge in me on my run.
  5. I'm surprised there are even that many up for sale.
  6. This is just a thought, and purely just as a conversation piece. What if Jim Warren himself reprinted them, to spark up a slow selling title like Eerie was when the " counterfeits" were made circa mid 70's. As Mr. Warren was a master salesman? Thoughts.
  7. Here's my copies staples. My question though. Why would someone use these type of staples to counterfeit a book, when surely there are staples without the blue stripe. I am of the premise that an employee of Warren reprinted the books from within the Warren printing room. They are not xeroxed, they are actually quite heavy black ink that shines when put to the light.
  8. What's hot? Everything I collect. What's not? Everything you collect. The man of Oak has spoken.😎
  9. No I'm really interested in this. I mean I dont know whether to think of it as a counterfeit or a second print.personally.
  10. Thank you . I wait with baited breath.
  11. Make sure you take lots of pics, and pics of the haul .
  12. These two guys are the experts on this subject. As a matter of fact I trust Makmorn so much I bought my Eerie Ashcan from him. It was his personal copy.
